Furnace Creek Ranch offers travelers a place to eat, sleep, get supplies and gasoline and is near many of Death Valley's most popular attractions.  It is also home to the Borax Museum and "Old Dinah".  The "Ranch", as it is called, has been inhabited by humans for thousands of years and, today, is the destination of most of Death Valley's over 800,000 visitors every year.
