BackRoadsWest presents:

References & Resources

In our search for information about the back roads of the Southwest, we have tried many products and purchased many books over the years.  Listed here are some of the books and products that, for us, stand out above the rest.  They have become some of our most valuable tools when planning a trip to Death Valley.  The books are well-written by people who are obviously knowledgeable about their subject and the products are reliable and the best on the market.  We also use the power of the Internet as a valuable tool and have included sites that we find helpful.

BackRoadsWest would like to give credit to those extraordinary books and products that have helped to teach and guide us as we explore the deserts and back roads we love.
