About these Virtual Tours

The purpose of this virtual tour series is to not only show off the many benefits that we enjoy living here in our unique community but also to help educate our fellow residents, both new and existing.  It includes some history, information about the lake and the Equestrian Estates, how the Association is governed, the nearby attractions outside of SVL and much more.

If this is the first time that you are going to see these tours, we suggest that you take the Introduction to SVL tour first.  This tour will give you an overview of Spring Valley Lake and will explain a little on how these virtual tours operate.

Instructions

These virtual tours operate very similar to a video.  All tours are viewed through the popular on-line video streaming service YouTube.  So if you are already familiar with how to use YouTube, then there is no need to read further.

Across the bottom of the YouTube video pane is the control bar.  In the lower left corner is the play/pause [►] button.  Click on it to start or pause the video.  The next button to the right is used for volume control.

In the lower right corner of the control bar is a button with arrows pointing in all four directions.  Click on it to see the video displayed full-screen.  Be aware that viewing the video full-screen takes up more Internet bandwidth, so if the video is slow or is jerky or choppy, press the ESC key to return to non-full screen mode.

When the video begins to play, a new button represented as a picture of a gear will appear.  Click on it to increase the quality of the video.  The best quality to choose is 720p.

Be aware, however, that higher quality takes more Internet bandwidth so, if your Internet connection is not high-speed, there will be frequent delays in the video as it is being downloaded.  If this happens, click on a lower resolution (a lower number).
