Our passion for exploring back roads in search of unique and beautiful scenery all stems from our love of photography. Who doesn’t love going out in search of beautiful scenery, then attempting to capture those views to save them as treasured memories?
Would you also like to capture images of scenery that the masses of people rarely take pictures of? How many more pictures of Angels Landing in Zion National Park or White Pocket in Vermilion Cliffs National Monument do we really need? Since we’ve been on many back roads (hence our name), we’ve seen and photographed many scenic places that other people haven’t.
Our photography tours are all custom, based off your interests. But you’ll probably ask, what is there to photograph that would interest me? Portions of our extensive library of pictures of places we’ve visited around our home base of Southern Utah are included below.
If you’d like to hire us for a day of scouting photography locations that we’ve enjoyed ourselves, we can discuss beforehand different places to go to and fill up the day. After you’ve looked at the pictures on this webpage, we can discuss what interests you and we can determine how much time will be involved and the time of day you’d like to visit.
We can customize each tour based off your physical abilities. Naturally, some of the more beautiful spots require some hiking, which means needing to haul your equipment a distance from a vehicle. We can also design the tour so that the places to photograph are close by a vehicle where little hiking is involved.

Tour Price
Price includes pick-up and drop-off at an area (i.e., St. George, Hurricane, Virgin, Springdale) hotel. Extra time is needed for pick-up or drop-off in Ivins. Total tour time 7-8 hours.
Sometimes we operate the tours personally, other times they are operated by our tour guide partner companies.
Price includes transportation in either a 4 seat or 6 seat 4WD SUV. For larger groups, either two vehicles or a van are required. Contact us below for a price quote and availability for larger groups.
Price is $800 for 1-4 people, 5-6 $1,000. Price approximately $1,400 for 7-11 people using one van.
