Example HDR Photography

The following pictures demonstrate the use of HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography.  The first five pictures, which are exposed at different light levels, are used to compile the two resultant HDR pictures at the end of this page.

Picture of an interior room with bright sunlight coming in.  This particular image is underexposed at -2 F-stops (an F-stop is the aperture setting or opening on the camera lens).
Same picture underexposed at -1 F-stop.
Same picture at the correct exposure according to the camera's light meter.
Same picture overexposed at +1 F-stop.
Same picture overexposed at +2 F-stops.
