Mojave National Preserve AreaLocated on the eastern edge of California, the Mojave National Preserve is home to many natural and man-made wonders. Within the Preserve you'll find: the Cow Cove petroglyphs that are one of the richest cultural sites in the eastern Mojave, a portion of the world's largest Joshua Tree forest, the historic Kelso Train Depot (1923), the Kelso Dunes, the eroded volcanic rocks of Hole-in-the-Wall, the Cima Volcanic Field with it's underground lava tube, the historic Oro Fino mine site and lots of diverse plant and animal life.
